What does Bob Believe?

Tuckerton needs more businesses

Little Egg has grown their business tax base year after year

Tuckerton seems stagnant – Only 1 business added in 2018

Tuckerton may benefit from a Chamber of Commerce or enter into those services with Little Egg

Tuckerton needs more recreation / activities for Kids, Teenagers

I propose having a “Pre-Adult” committee comprised of Tuckerton children. With children holding positions –

Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, etc (their choices). With a Committee person or adult volunteers as advisor(s).

The goal of the committee would be to have kids engaged in what would make Tuckerton better. At the same time, it could teach the value of service to the community.

Tuckerton needs to end gridlock on important matters and get more things done.

DREDGING – has wallowed in inactivity for >25 years. Resulting rises on cost make the issue worse. Time to solve the dredging problems for good.

Veterans Park / Memorial on Route 9

Old Town Hall

Route 9 gridlock

Tuckerton Waterways are not respected as the lifeblood of Tuckerton.

10 Marinas and at least 3 restaurants draw business from the waterways

All Tuckerton waterfront property owners contribute greatly to Tuckerton businesses.

Various businesses make great profit throughout South Jersey on waterways (kayak/canoe tours, etc)

The Pre-Adult Committee could make recommendations on more use of the waterways (kayak clubs, races, etc)

Tuckerton is probably NOT READY for the next Superstorm Sandy!!!
